Below are some personal projects I have been working on, each with a brief description.
Possible rebrand for a friend’s salon
A friend who owns a salon came to me to design her some possible logos for a rebrand. She was moving into a larger space in her building and is taking the opportunity to rebrand and start fresh. She chance the name “The Beauty Affair” but gave me license to remove the in the name if it worked better for the design. In the gallery above are some of the slides from the deck I presented her with.
Wedding Collateral
These are the files for a friend’s wedding. I was honored to be a bridesmaid for the wedding so to use my skills and help her out I created these designs and saw them through production. This wedding I designed most of the materials. From the mailed elements like the envelop and return address stickers as well as the content, down to wedding day signage like the seating chart and favor signs. The full list of elements is below as well as each graphic in the above gallery titled with its purpose.
- Save the date card
- Wedding invitation card
- Thank you card - printed then cut myself using the digital cutter I had access to
- Custom Envelop design for both save the date card and invitation
- Return address labels for use on the thank you card envelops - printed myself using Avery labels on hand
- Seating chart - three panels that were mounted onto a three panel presentation board
- Favor sign
- Table numbers - printed then cut myself using the digital cutter I had access to
Bridal Shower Invite & Wedding Table Numbers
These are the files for a friend’s bridal shower and wedding tables numbers I did. I was honored to be a bridesmaid for the wedding so to use my skills and help her out I created these designs and saw them through production. In the case of the invitation, that was printed off site while I was occupied with another project. In the case of the table numbers, I printed and then cut them from start to finish. I used the printer and digital paper cutter I had access to at that time to create and deliver these to her for her wedding day.
Daily Journal
This is a daily journal I have been working on with the intention of uploading to Amazon to use their print on demand feature. That feature allows them to handle all the printing costs and shipping costs and the profits get deposited to my account. This is not finished yet but is close.
Andy Warhol Magazine Spread Mock-up
This is a magazine spread I made after taking a trip to New York City and seeing a retrospective on Andy Warhol at the Whitney. The text in this is just placeholder text but the featured quotes are his quotes. The imagery was found imagery off google. The arrangement of all these elements is mine.
